Vibrant poppies

This piece measures 12" by 24" without the frame.  It is made of tiny pieces of stained glass glued to medium density fiberboard, which is then grouted and painted. Each petal of the poppies is made up of many tiny pieces.  The colors are so vibrant that they excite the eyes, I'm especially happy about the dark cobalt blue glass used as shadow under the flowers.
