An unusual 20" open top stained glass lamp with pointed oval bevels in the skirt. The original pattern was modified to include these bevels.
The lamp design is from 1909 by Duffner and Kimberly. The open top concept was a radical new idea in its day. It was a good one, because today there are million of fabric open top shade available. It became the typical shade of choice.
The shade was made using an Odyssey Mold (N202) and spider. The lamp base style is an Acorn Table Lamp Base.Material used:
