Odyssey Poppy 16" - "Lynne"

I named my first "Odyssey Lamp" as "Lynne", the name of my late teacher who teached me how to build it but, could not see me to finish.

I purchased from her a very old "pancake" red ripple glass, and I built this lamp around this piece. Took me 10 years to finish because I am perfectionist. After changing the secondary flowers two time, I finished it.

I used other old pieces of glass, the green and the ripple (border). The rest is Youghiogheny (secondary flowers and the background). The centers (flowers) is Uroboros glass (scrap)

I am not decided, although I have them, to use the feligree. 

This is the first of few that I would like to make. I have the magnolias and the azaleas. When finished, I will share. Thank you Lynne, this is for you!!!
