Two Thrushes in the Dogwood Tree

21" x 30"    293 Pieces.  This delicate piece is constructed on two planes - the clear background and setting sun form the base plane and the birds, flowers, and branches sit on top.  The birds are thrushes, male and female and the foliage is a blooming pink dogwood.  The use of clear antique glass with a hint of the sun's rays allowing to bleed through creates a quality of transparency.
