Springtime in Glass and Metal

Cast glass flowers arranged on a metal sculpulpture.  There is a central daisy surrounded by large cast leaves on the main body of the piece.  Then the central flower is surrounded by three smaller cast flowers on one side.  One quarter of the metal circle is separated from the main piece and it has two small cast flowers on it.  The piece is 36 inches x 36 inches and hangs on the wall.

I started casting flowers and leaves not sure what I would use to display them.  I knew I wanted some kind of metal framework but I had to search for what I wanted.  I found this metal scupture which I fell in love with.  It is in two pieces:  a 3/4 circle and a 1/4 of a circle.  I worked with it until I had all my leaves and flowers in an arrangement that I loved.  All the pieces were cold fused to the metal.  This piece is the result.
