Masonic Square and Compass

Shown is a 28 inch square Masonic Square and Compass that is reinforced with half iinch steel web which is tied onto copper wires soldered into lead camed panel on the back side so that reinforcement is not visible from the front side.  The panel sits in the East and is backlit with a string of LEDs around the border.  The details on the square and compass were painted and fired in a kiln.
