Mandala

This sculpture is representaive of a couple's life together. The number of circles represent the number of their children, there is a cross running through the design that signifies their spirituality, and there are shapes of houses that symbolizes their service work. The leaded glass pattern connects to the octagonal wood frame just by steel rods, allowing the glass to float away from the frame and the wall. Even though the sculpture is 4 ft in diameter, it has a light and airiness to it.
