Alternate Route Mosaic

This piece is life inspired.  I spent 12 years working in an office job that became a bit boring as time wore on. I followed the expected path but wasn't expressing my creative side. Toward the end of my tenure at that position, I started dabbling in more creative endeavors which brought me to making mosaics.   This is a one of a kind teal and copper mosaic in a rustic wood frame.  The mosaic is made with glass tile, ceramic tile, glass beads and grout.  The frame measures 12 3/4 inches high by 32 1/4 inches wide.  The mosaic within the frame is 10 1/4 inches high by 30 inches wide.  This piece really shimmers with the changing light of the day with all of the glass tile and bits of iridescent tile within the piece.
