Gentle Giraffes

This is a panel that measures approximately 24” wide  by 18” tall. I used spectrum water glass and antique glass. The blue sky is in a blue glass with a smoky pattern. The light background is in a rough rolled glassThese types of glass are among the favorites that I like to work with. The pattern was taken from a larger pattern that included a variety of animals in a Noah’s ark sort of picture. I lifted the giraffes and added the leaves to give the panel some contrasting color. This is a copper foil technique piece put in a stained oak frame.
