La Papagallo

This original piece depicts a brilliantly colored macaw (la papagallo is spanish for macaw).  The bird's pose with splayed wings shows of the highly detailed plumage in bright primary colors.  She is perched on a branch and contrasted by varying shades of greens depicting realistic tropical foliage.  This large flat panel is 22" x 29" and is constructed with black-backed copper foil and black patina using 420 pieces.
