A very rare variety of daisy lives in northern Ohio along the shores of Lake Erie. This Lakeside Daisy grows in the rockiest areas, especially in and around rock quarries. This plate is my attempt to duplicate nature, and although I am happy with the result, it pales in comparison with Mother Nature's! The petals are rough cut with nippers, and arranged around frit centers. Varying colors of green form some leaves, and tones of gray represent the rocks.
The plate is tack fused, then slumped into the origami form.
