Balloon

"Balloon" (23'Hx21Wx21"L) is an experiment of using pieces of stained glass in unconventional ways. I cut the stained glass panels into 2"x1/4" pieces and covered a balloon shape I created with expanding foam. I used around 20 square feet of glass, over 4,000 pieces. Balloon hangs on the wall and gives the illusion of floating while being visually heavy.
