Bloom and frost

I designed this piece from scratch with basicly a idea in my head to compliment blue and red flowers with the green leaves and frost background. As you can tell from my concept photos this piece changed direction every time I looked at it. It was challanging to keep the components balanced and make the sturcture of the pieces strong. this piece is 33" x 45" and took over 100 hours to finish. I exceptionally happy with the way that I got some depth in the way the green plants are layered. unfortunately this is not as evident in the photos as it is in person. I have had more compliments on this piece than any other work I have done. A unique one of a kind work as is all my art.

• some blue irridesent in the flowers and bordered with bevels and oak
