"A Lovely Mistake"

Another first from 2016.  I had wanted to create a beautiful heart bowl to give to a friend and during the fire process it broke in three pieces.  I attempted to glue it back together and added irridescent frit to fill the gaps.  Again, it broke during the fire process.  I bought a glass shadow box and frame and glued it to the canvas.  It now sits on a side table in my living room.  A very lovely mistake!
