In Memory of Monster

Monster was a cat who was loved by many and this piece catches his playful nature and cuteness that made all of his mischievousness instantly forgivable.

This window-size piece is made from  a pattern I made from a composite of several photographs.

 The piece is made with many glass sources including scavenged antique glass from a piece removed from a house during remodeling. 

Glass makers that are known are Bullseye, Spectrum, Uroboros and Wissmach. Color selection is challenging when trying to capture a specific cat, but is very satisfying when the piece captures the cat as well as this one.
