Majestic Mountain Magic

"Majestic Mountain Magic" is a foiled piece measuring 20.75 inches by 7 inches. This design is comprised of 50 pieces that were foiled and soldered. Streaky Spectrum and some Bullseye glass along with other scrap glass pieces with swirls of lighter shades of the same color palette were used in this piece. The inspiration for "Majestic Mountain Magic" came from the need for something to "block" or "shade" a small west-facing window over the backdoor in my daughter's and son-in-law's Denver home. Boulder, Colorado is very special to them both as they were married there in October of 2009.  I designed the piece from a compilation of pictures I took from a park off McCaslin Boulevard in Louisville, Colorado looking towards the mountains in Boulder, Colorado. This piece was my third stained glass creation.
