Villa WE Mosaic

In most beach towns, people name their homes....it’s sort of an unspoken rule of living on the coast. 

When we moved to St Simons Island GA, we named our home “Villa WE”, and I made this stained glass mosaic sign to welcome our guests (and when you live by the beach, there are LOTS of guests)! :)

This was my first mosaic project, and I really caught the fever!! I’ve learned so much since then but one thing hasn’t changed...I LOVE choosing glass for my projects!!! Every piece of glass tells part of the story.....through its color, texture and placement.
