Woman with Sun

My first piece with color was a piece for my grandaughter of a heart bevel surrounded with red glass.  Once I made it, I was no longer afraid of taking more steps with color.

This is my second piece with color, and first using someone else's pattern. It is 16x24 inches.

I am not yet fully stocked with tools, so when the neck broke from not having the tool I needed to make the corner, I inserted the choker to connect the pieces. 

This lady speaks to me.  Although I've seen this piece completed by others with the woman naked, I felt she needed more.  I see so much in this woman -- she could be any one or all of us.
