Drifting On A Summers Breeze

This piece took over 65 hours of kiln time.  First step was the two 17" round sheets of glass with blues hues of powder glass lightly dusted and fired to a full fuse.  Next a signle sheel 1/8" thick with glass rods fused to a tack fues then wet sawed into pie shapes.  The next step I took a sheet of clear & streaky aqua & white cut into a 4" circle and full fused.  The next step was the large dragonfly using irid sheet cut to fit the mold and powder glass.  The last step was to assemble all pieces except the dragonfly.  They were high tack so the texture would remain.  Last step I used a clear constuction epoxy to adhere the dragonfly
