Neptune's Chalice Stained Glass Window

This is an original design for my kitchen window. The glass panel measures 15 x 23 inches. I wanted to channel the morning light through the window, to fill the stained glass "bowl" or urn.  Each piece of glass shimmers with opalescence every morning to my delight. The blues and greens radiate lush, rich color, rather like the vintage, American-made glassware that I love to collect and display. This was done using copper foil and 60/40 solder, framed with u-channel zinc.  This was a fun piece to make.
