Autumn Elk

My design was inspired by some amazing photographs taken by my son and his wife who spent several months travelling the country last fall - sleeping in their pick up truck! They loved Yellowstone the most with its many elk, buffalo, and other wildlife.  This will be a house warming gift for them.  It is made with bullseye glass, kokomo glass, and Chicago art glass with dichroic highlights and bevels.  The birch trees are hand painted onto the glass.  The smaller pines are hand cut copper foil.  I also made the black walnut frame.
