Geological flowers from here and elsewhe

This is an original design of flowers I have made.  The flowers' centers are rocks that I have picked up where I live (Val-d'Or, Quebec, Canada) and some of them are from the shores of Nova Scotia.

The frame is an old mirror frame from a desk.  When I saw it, I knew exactly what would be the design to fit in it !  I took the Spectrum glass for its transparency and the brightness of the colors.

It is my masterpiece and my favorite piece.
