Church Window: Jesus Knocking at the Door

3 loves
Description:

This window was made by Larry and Barb Koranda using copper foil and solder. It is 89" x 25" comprised of 5 panes with wood between each.  Panes are set on the inside of the original clear textured glass of the window.    After looking at several different paintings of "Jesus Knocking at the Door/gate", our artist friend, Steve Lucke drew this pattern to fit the window for us. He also painted the faces, hands, and feet.    This is a blind window (closed to make a ramp on the outside of the church) just inside of the front entrance.  We put white plastic behind it and back lit it with LED rope lighting.

This window is the 7th in our church that we've done. We started about 10 years ago because our little country church only had clear textured windows; no stained glass.
