Large Outdoor Stained glass Panel

Prickly pear cactus shown in a 30" x 40" stained glass panel using 1/2" flat lead came.  This piece was designed by hand and a great learning experience in sizing pieces.  My original design had to be mofifies throughout process because some expanses of sky pieces were too long and I was unable to source the sizes of glass needed.  Live and learn!  The panel is installed in upper beams of out outdoor patio on a south facing end.  Re-inforced with horizontal rebar strips, and internal re-strip on longer glass pieces.  A custom welded metal frame encloses the basic zinc frame.
