"A Silent Witness"

This old tree, who stands on a farm in Flanders Fields, survived the horror of World War I. I placed on the lamp the badge of the Royal Corp Company, one of the regiments who liberated the farm. The original shell with the pigtail were found in the soil of the grounds around the farm.
