birds on a wire

 You can just tell that the blue  birds on top are wondering what their pink friend is trying to do.  The birds are created from copper foiled stained glass.  Their eyes are made from black and white fused glass.  Their feet are made from 12 guage copper wire that has been tinned.
 The stick that they are attached to is  twisted 10 gauge copper wire that is "tinned" with solder.  A copper patina has been applied.  The 18 inch sturdy black chain is attached  to the suncatcher  through the rings at the top of the wings of the birds and then to decorative leaves that have also been soldered to the wire.  You can find a similiar suncatcher to buy at my site on Etsy.
