Fused Glass Platter or Tray in Muted Tones of Mauve, Green and Gray

Long, rectangular fused glass sushi style platter in shades of mauve, green, gray, black, ivory and white.  

Inspired by woven fabric tapestries, I created this one of a kind piece by arranging thin strips of glass on their sides and full fusing it face down in my kiln.  It was then fired a second time facing up inside a slump mold to give it its final shape. 

It is 12-5/16" long by 4-¾" wide and sits 1" high. The glass is ¼" thick.
