This seven inch long cat was formed by casting glass chunks into a mold constructed of stainless steel strapping. The flat cat was then slumped over a sheet of stainless steel which was bent for the legs and a previously constructed wet felt mold for the body. The patterning in the glass was created by casting a large block of alternating colors of Bullseye thin and then breaking it into large chunks.
