This piece (measuring 10in. long by 7in. high) incorporates the process of using stainless steel strapping to form a mold which is filled with previously created glass chunks. The resulting flat firing is then slumped over a "wet felt" body mold on top of an elevated flat piece of stainless steel which is bent to shape the legs. The glass patterning is created by casting selected alternating colors of thin Bullseye glass into a large block which is then subsequently broken into usable chunks.
