3D "In the Magic Light of the Moon"

This 3D stained glass panel was created from a poem written by my sister, Betsy.  

To my mother and best friend

A daughter is a little girl

Who grows up to be her mother’s friend.

Easily said when the relationship

Covers a lifetime of care and amends.

Separated through the years by physical miles

But always brought together by rewarding loyalty.

The love between a mother and daughter

Is unconditional love given by each accordingly.

This is a love I treasure and fear

To lose in the case of the hereafter in denial.

And the absolute fear of not being the best

I could be since my innocent arrival.

May this be for all daughters

That it is never too late or too soon

To be the friend hugging your mother

By the magic light of the moon.
