Canoeing the Northwoods

The stained glass mosaic is done on an old log stool surface.  The  12 inch square stool was in need of repair, but was perfect to use as a plantstand or a bit of decor in a nothwoods cabin on the lake.  The sky was started with quite small  pieces of glass, then cut larger as the image comes forward.    I love to make use of all my scrap glass as sorting through the color selections is an enjoyable part of my process.
