Think Pink

This glass mosaic is done on a primed wood frame 12 x 12" with attached wood feet.  It is to be used as a plant stand or simply to add color to a Florida home.  It is a gift to a flamingo lover.  The sketch was done in pencil directly on the primed wood surface, then cuts of glass added  to give him personality.  It is grouted in grey .  This is my first few monthes working with glass and I love the mosaic process.  I have been a painter for many of my 75 years and now have this new passion.  Delphi has been a wonderful source for all my materials.
