the light that guides my way

this piece contains over 60 different colors of glass and is designed to depict some Edible Folk song lyrics (which are laser engraved into several of the longer “tree” sections of glass) as well as use tiny, polished stones (imbedded into the frame & attached to themselves) that create the forest floor, which are from the clients centerpieces from their wedding.

Shape, Line & Color all pull their weight in this design, and all together are used to create a sense of light interacting with and filtering through the overly colorful depth of the forest scene...
