When I was on vacation in Scotland, I saw a swan sitting on her nest. I wanted to recreate that swan. The pattern is one I modified from a stained glass pattern. probably a free pattern published by Spectrum glass. I used opaque white, (Bullseye glass #0013) with some red and black from my scrap bin. Swan nests are messy mounds of twigs, which is how I made this nest. Its base is cardboard with different size twigs and dirt glued to it.
