Johnny Cash

Stained glass mosaic of legendary singer Johnny Cash.  This piece measures 16” x 24” and took 107 hours to complete.   Each piece of glass was hand cut using a carbide cutter.  The shape of each distinct piece of glass was determined as the piece was built out.  There was no pattern used for glass shapes, placement or flow.  The stained glass pieces were glued down to cabinet grade plywood which was then grouted.  Glass used included Wissmach black opal luminescent, MLW Vivid mirror, Oceanside black 96 COE, Oceanside opals, Bullseye white mottled and Van Gogh.
