Wood 'N Glass Garden Art

I love wood and glass artwork I have seen online and hoped to recreate a similar accent piece for my garden.  I found a beautiful wood slab in an antique/junk store that gave me the 4' frame for the design, the slab was cut out and a sturdy metal frame base was attached.  The afternoon sun through the slab's leaded yellow/orange/red/maroon glass panel throws a flash of fire across the yard, complimenting other stained glass decor in the yard.  The bright colors are equally eye-catching when snow blankets the yard!  As we do have hail storms, I added a metal arbor to help protect the slab glass and a colorful mosaic glass bird feeder from Mother Nature's worst days.
