Three 8" x 10" Watercolor paintings with stained glass birds and branches depicting blackbirds in the trees.
When I began working with stained glass, I found I could not bring myself to throw away the bits of glass scraps leftover from my projects. So I began saving the small pieces to "do something with..." When I work on a stained glass project and am using the grinder, I pull out my scraps and grind them into what the glass looks like to me. These formed scraps then go into a jar until I have a large amount of pieces. I pull out pieces and see what they "say" to me. When I arrange the glass into groups, I use watercolor inks to paint the backgrounds. Then I use glue to anchor the glass pieces
