Fish Box

A lidded box, made off a hand carved plasticine mold, filled and painted with pate de verre application within the mold, before being fired and cast into the kiln. The Fish lid fits over the eggs and base piece, this piece functions as a japanese ink stone, ink can be ground into water against the inner box, filling the ink well to be used for painting or drawing with brush pens.
