Tree Lamp

I found this base at a 2nd hand store, and knew I needed to retire the old fabric shade make a themed glass shade for it! I love the whimsy of oak trees, the way their branches are so gnarled & twisty, so that's what ispired me to design this lampshade. It is 28" tall with the base; the shade itself is 11" tall, the bottom diameter is 12" and the top diameter is 6".  I found some stunning Wissmach blue & white opal glass for the background to simulate the wispy spring sky, and a translucent brown for the branches.
