Flying fans

This multicolored piece was inspired by another piece I have in my home where I made one large multicolored fan and added metal framing.  I wanted this piece to just be a stand alone piece for my wall.  It is approximately 24" x 9".  I am a COE 96 glass artist.  I used Oceanside 2mm clear glass for the base, then various pieces of opal and transparent glasses.  I then added some Wissmach luminescent accents.  I cut 1" circles from luminescent, transparent and dichroic glass.  I also put in a few "dots" (small pieces pre-fused into small blobs) and course frit.  This was done in just one firing using my contour schedule.
