floating in the waves

This piece was made for a friend leaving in the Marshall islands. In order to takeher a piece, it had to be small enough I could travel halfway around the world with. I had a ton of random scraps that I was inspired to use as well. This peice had no pattern with it, I just started laying out peices to see if they would work in the different layers of the water. Very fun piece to make!
