The Road to OZ and The Woman in Gold

The Road to Oz: My sister (Dorothy) and I operated the Land of OZ Bed and Breakfast for several years. This panel is the world held safely in the hands of the Universe. At the bottom are the ruby slippers and in the middle of the world is the Emerald City. This hung on one of our guest houses.

The Woman in Gold: I love this Klimpt painting of Adele Bloch-Bauer. I'm fascinated by its WWII history and I love that this painting made its way home (and that the Altmann family allows it to be put on display). I wanted my own version. When the sun hits it just right, the gold glow is surreal.
