Glass on Glass Mosaic Rooster

This mosaic is 17 inches by 21 inches and is glass on glass.  My hope was to display the gorgeous colors of the feathers by using some transparent and some textured glass.  The green background was purposefully designed to offset the direction of the rooster so that the colors would "pop".  The eye was hard to capture to show an accurate depiction.  It is a fused glass dot that does have a blended color.  I started using a mosaic glue and switched to E6000, which I like working with better.
