Fine Silver Turquoise Cross Pendant Western Style Leather Look

Made from metal clay and a tibetan  turquoise stone that is 16 mm. This large cross is stamped with a tooled leather look and stitched over lay. The cross is 3.5" long and almost 2.5 inches wide. A great western style cross that can be worn from a silver chain or a fun beaded necklace.

A unique one of a kind creation from west wind creations. This project took me a long time because of the stone setting. I wanted it to be incorporated into the design without taking much of the stones beauty away. The bezel setting in fine silver bezel wire with a fine silver or precious  metal clay accent around it. After many hours of drawing and placing and removing the bezel I finally found what I wanted and that was to keep it simple. I patina d it to bring out the texture and gave the smooth overlay a high shine.
