Your Wish is my Command

I got a request to make two glass fairy wands for a  friends two preteen granddaughters. (She gives than a fairy wand every year for their birthdays!) After much experimentation I used  glass ornaments and decorated them  inside with glitter and alcohol inks and soldered them to a long 3/8" thick  sturdy glass rod. ( these were for display only, not actual waving and wishing!). I used colored wire to wrap around the wands and attached pretty ribbons with glass beads and metal jingle bells. WHAT FUN!
