Description:
I was the project engineer on this car which was the first racecar to have a carbon fiber chassis. The window idea came from a photo I took at the Las Vegas Grand Prix in 1981 and Niki Lauda was the driver. He autographed the window in 1982 when he visited the factory where we made the chassis. The banner is made from "Flashed" glass and I sandblasted the color away to create the banners. I also sandblasted the road to make it look like asphalt. The window is in my basement window. I may make a light box so ai display it in other areas.
