Description:
A friend wanted a Blue Fin Tuna window to replace his attic window that was broken. I made the window and the first time the owner saw it he said that he couldn't put that in the attic, so I made a lightbox and it's now behind his bar. I found some unique glass that had a lot of ripples and cut it so it looked like the tuna was making the ripples. The mottled glass worked out nicely for the body. His broken window hac plain blue and amber panels and I was able to salvage some of that glass for the eye and small fins on the back. I also used some of the blue in the water. The window is 24" x 24" and is made using copper foil. The last photo shows a simple window that I made for the attic.
