Description:
Here's what can be accomplished in 90 hours. My "Northern Knight" is a 53" X 25" transom window - drawn, cut, ground to fit, foiled, framed and soldered. The polar bear is a GST bevel cluster and the transom is framed with icy, clear bevels. I used Uroborus glass to create exquisite northern lights in the night sky. The snow bank and ice floe were built with white irid and white textured glass. Finally, the piece was framed with zinc u-channel and finished with Jax pewter patina.
