The finely carved brass vase came from a small dusty shop in Islamabad, Pakistan. For a lot of years, maybe 25, I tried to make a complicated lamp shade to compliment the complicated base. One day one small piece of Youghiogheny glass solved the problem. Ten sides and about seven inches tall. The finial found its way from a small shop on Ebay to the top of the shade. Sometimes simple is complicated enough.
