Mariposa Moon

Art Nouveau Mariposa butterfly.  The frame of the panel is a 20" metal macrame ring, wrapped in 1/2" copper foil.  Bullseye glass and German faceted gems are used.  The background is especially interesting.  It's a metalic Bullseye glass that looks amazing without light.  I thought the metalic would disappear under heavy light, but it's constantly changing; from bronze to a glowing gold, to a silver plate.  The greens and blues are constantly glowing.
